A browser alone cannot host redirects, so this tool calls a free public shortener API and shows the real link it returns — if the API is unreachable, it says so and never invents a fake short link.

Limits

The short link is created by is.gd, not by Tools99, so it depends on is.gd staying available. If is.gd is unreachable, no short link is invented — the tool says so plainly.
