Video to MP4 converter
Convert a video file in your browser. The video engine produces an MP4 where it loads; if it cannot load, the tool re-records the video in your browser's supported recording format instead.
Files you choose stay on your device — they are not uploaded to Tools99.

How this workspace works
- Choose a video file.
- Convert it in your browser.
- Download the result and play it to confirm it opens.
Converted in your browser with ffmpeg into a real MP4. If the video is already H.264/AAC it is remuxed without re-encoding; otherwise it is re-encoded to H.264/AAC. Nothing is uploaded. If the engine cannot load, the page falls back to a browser re-recording and says so plainly.
Your file never left this device, so there is no server copy to delete. Download again, start over, or continue with a related tool below.
How to use Video to MP4 converter

A good use for this
Getting a video into the widely supported MP4 format for sharing, uploading, or playback on another device.
Limits
The video engine produces an MP4 where it loads. If it cannot load, the tool re-records the video in your browser's supported recording format instead — which may be WebM, not MP4 — and says so plainly. Conversion is not instant on long videos.
